Thank you! Yeah, like I said in some other comment, it was part of a minimalistic game jam... so it had to be done in a limited time frame. But who knows? Maybe in the future I'll come back on the "genre" to make a longer experience... π Thanks again for the video! π
Thank you, but there are a couple of reasons why it was made like that. First, it was in a minimalistic game jam... so I had to keep it minimal. π Second, I know background music is a nice thing (you can find it anywhere in my other games), but it kinda "fights" against the breaking of the 4th wall, which is the most important thing in this game. Thanks again for the video! π
Thank you for the video! π I'm glad you liked the game! π And yeah, I know how important using non copyrighted material is, so all the music and sounds in my games are mostly original compositions or, when it's not possible, royalty free material. Thanks again and bye! π
I really had some good laughs playing this game i also enjoyed the simple concept of the game itself great job! also here is a video i made on your game
This was really fun! I enjoyed the simple design and the premise was good too. I'm curious as to what engine you made this in? I'm in the ever ongoing process of learning Game Maker, and I was wondering if you used it?
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! About the engine... well, it's not Game Maker, nor something publicly available. It's an old and deeply customized C++ engine I keep maintaing throughout the years. I still use it because, compared to other engines, it's the quickest one to develop interactive ideas. But Game Maker is cool too. π
Just think about your input resources... like your keyboard. Since the button is the "X" button... join these two things and you'll get the solution. ;)

I don't see it quitting the game as me not winning the game since the game isn't called 'YOU' Have to Quit the game ;O
That's right. π
I enjoyed it could have used a little background music before the main parts in my opinion but, it was a great concept for a game.

I like it even more now knowing that it came from a homemade engine. That's incredibly impressive.
Thank you!
