This game was terrifying, and I absolutely loved it! I The atmosphere was fantastic, and the visuals and music, and the way that they helped to create the atmosphere, were absolutely incredible! This is definitely one of your best games, and I'm really excited to play your other ones like it.
Great game dude, really enjoyed it. Glad there were no obnoxious jump scares, more like a creepy environment that has you constantly nervous to look around corners and into dark hallways. Anyone looking to spend 1-2 hours playing a psychological thriller should love this game
I just finished playing this game-- and I must say, this is absolutely phenomenal. I loved every second of it, even if it confused me some (which is good, makes a player more intrigued to keep playing). I really enjoyed the weirdness and atmosphere. There were times I really thought I saw something in the game, but it was just my imagination. You did an excellent job on this, it was one of my favorites to play in a while! I hope to see more games like this made because I will play them. :)
It really means a lot to me when people enjoy my games and tell me about it. ๐
I suggest you try some other titles similar to this (even if they are completely different experiences) like "Black Tree Project" and "Ivory gardens of our past". Or, if want to play a longer one (still with the same style), be sure to check "Sleepthrough" out. You can find them all on my main page here: https://approductions.itch.io/
Oh, and I'm so glad you managed to listen to the radio. It's an easy to miss thing, so this could even be the only existing let's play (finally) featuring the "whole thing"!
Totally didn't expect that, but I probably should've after seeing the screen. Speaking of that, have you considered doing a horizontal flip on the image to further the "inside the computer" feeling?
Thank you for the video! ๐ And no, the screen doesn't need to be flipped since it's not about you going inside your computer, but rather you experiencing a reality which stands outside of your PC (and inside your mind) until you quit the game. ๐ You might better understand what I mean by playing these other games of mine (and if you enjoyed Lyssophobia, they're really something you don't want to miss):
Thank you so much for the video! ๐ I'm really glad you enjoyed it! About the deer, well, it's a female deer, a "hind"... "be-the-hind"... "behind". Let's just say there something (or better, someone) behind you while you play the game. All the time. Remember the first words ever displayed on your screen when you started playing the game. ... who's really playing the game? ๐
Such a unique game! I haven't played one quite like it before. Really creepy and the lack of 360 movement adds to that experience. I really enjoy games that don't rely on constant jump scares to spook me, and this was one of those games!
Oh, if you happen to go back to Lyssophobia (and this is a hint I'm giving to everyone), just remember to fully listen to the radio, both times you meet it in the "clickable dimension". It tells you a couple of interesting facts.๐
This was so amazing! I haven't played anything like this before and I loved every single moment of it, it was so eerie. How long have you been working on this game? :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
Thank you! Developing this game into a playable form took me about a month, but all my released projects, included Lyssophobia, are always the result of a long researched and thoroughly thought process. I didn't know about the GDWC, thank you for letting me know about it. ๐ I just joined with a Lyssophobia entry. ๐
I am paranoid. I am insane? I am a murderer? I am... I don't know who I am.
Lyssophobia is a point and click mystery game where we don't know who to believe, what happened or where we go from here.
It's also a masterpiece of horror shenanigans, with an ending that knocks your socks off! Andrea, you're a genius, and please never stop making amazing games like this one!
Everyone else, if you haven't added this to your playlist please do it now! It's definitely worth your time!
Thank you so much! ๐ It really means a lot to be so appreciated after all the hard work making a game like this requires. And I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks again for the video! ๐

Great Job Andrea !

Please, feel free to check "Black Tree Project", a shorter game I made before this one, which shares a lot of things with Lyssophobia:

If you, denizen of the internet are reading this and are looking for a surreal brand of psychological horror then this game is for you
Thank you!๐ I wholeheartedly agree! ๐
This is very interesting. I liked the forth wall break and how the game makes use of it.
